TBM Skewers with Kalmata Tapenade

perfect party poppers...& even more delicious in summer months when tomatoes & basil are at their finest!

{tomato basil mozzarella skewers with kalmata tapenade}

ingredients {in order of use}
  • 1/2 box small grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 5-6 basil leaves, torn into small pieces
  • 1 ball of mozzarella, diced into small, skewer-able sizes
  • toothpicks or small skewers
  • 6 kalmata olives
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil {+more if needed}
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
1. using toothpicks or skewers, skewer 1/2 of tomato {with the cut side facing down}, small piece of basil & chunk of mozzarella. arrange in a bowl or on a serving platter.

2. in a blender, add olives, garlic, olive oil, oregano & salt. puree until smooth. drizzle over TBM skewers. serve!
